Given how long both of us have been part of the WordPress community, it’s hard to believe Marcus and I didn’t actually meet until WordCamp Montclair 2023.
The truth is, I didn’t know about Marcus before then—and I’m pretty sure the feeling was mutual. He was there repping GoDaddy at yet another one of his many WordCamps. Not long after we met, I asked him if he knew BobWP (“Bob who?”), and just like that, we were off and running. I asked if I could write for GoDaddy, and Marcus helped make it happen.
Somehow, it feels like I’ve known Marcus forever. I’ve never heard a negative word about him—and honestly, I doubt anyone could say one. He’s always there when you need help, no matter what kind. That’s just who he is.
